Train to Gain provides employers with help and support to raise
the skill levels of their staff by offering accredited training to
nationally recognised standards to at least level 2. By
ensuring your staff have got the right skills to do the best job
you will improve productivity and competitiveness.
Public funding is available through the Colleges' to help
businesses with vocational training at level 2 and 3 and also with
basic skills for your workforce.
Training time compensation is a new idea to help small businesses (under 50 employees) to cover the costs of staff absence whilst training. If your staff are absent from work for training either at college or even within the workplace you can receive compensation at their actual wage rate.
