If you're self-employed or employ less than 250 people you could qualify for SkillWorks and receive up to 60% towards the cost of training to meet your specific needs and help your business develop and grow.
SkillWorks is a flexible demand-led training scheme funded by
the Learning and Skills Council to help businesses like yours get
the skills you need at an affordable price. The funding is
available for most types of training, except those that are
statutory requirements i.e. training or qualifications that are a
legal requirement in order to do a specific job, unless you can
demonstrate 'added value' to your business needs.
If you are an SME that has already engaged with SkillWorks you are still eligible for support at the rate of 40%. The maximum amount businesses can access is now £20,000 and for businesses in Halton it's a maximum of £10,000.
