At Southport College, we understand the importance of delivering
training that meets your business objectives. Our portfolio of
courses encompasses a wide range of training solutions including
bespoke training, short courses and professional development.
Courses run at various times during the year on a scheduled
programme, or can be offered as a bespoke package, flexibly
delivered with start dates throughout the year.
Case study
Southport College has developed an effective working
relationship with Parkhaven Trust, a provider of residential and
nursing care, to establish a comprehensive service to meet and
manage their training needs.
The College currently provides a rolling programme of National
Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) to the Trust and from enrolment to
assessment, training takes place in the workplace. This service is
designed to recognise the diversity of services provided by
Parkhaven Trust and the needs of its shift workers.
In addition, the College has developed a range of short bespoke courses to meet the organisation's training requirements. These courses are delivered on-site by highly trained professionals who have developed a good understanding of the service and its needs. This partnership has proved most successful in developing staff at Parkhaven Trust, enabling its managers to meet their legal and professional obligations in a consistent and cost-effective manner.
